Welcome to Westside's Emerging Building issues! We hope this page will be of some help BRIC The Building Repair and Improvement Committee (BRIC) is concerned with major structural changes needed in our new building. Initially, they were concerned with committing the escrowed repair funds by the deadline, then progressing to other needed major repairs/replacement. BRIC has coordinated the replacement of the double furnaces in the front of the Sanctuary and has scheduled the replacement of the Stab-Loc electrical box in the rear closet of the Sanctuary. As well they are coordinating repair of the roof to eliminate the leak in the ceiling. They welcome input to their process, having placed forms at church, and have also included one here:
Building The building committee is concerned with the day to day operations of the building and general maintenance of the grounds. Building coordinates the mowing contract. Building works with the congregation and the Montessori school to repair door locks, door closers; coordinate building repairman entry and introduction, and work with the board on various building issues. We coordinate work days, and help set up the sanctuary and fellowship for Sunday Services.
