The Flower Ceremony is an annual tradition at Westside and a century old tradition in UUism celebrating beauty, human uniqueness, diversity, and community. Please bring a flower with you to the service to share. If you cannot, we will have extras - but for this occasion, the more, the better!

The social justice committee, in conjunction with the Texas Freedom Network and the Justice Network of Tarrant County, will hold a postcard writing party after church. We will provide postcards and snacks.

9:00 am - Breakfast Potluck in Fellowship Hall (bring a breakfast entree, side, or sweet treat to share)
10:00 am - 11:30 am - General Assembly Worship Service - Westside will participate via livestream as the largest annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists worship together in community. The Reverend Jen Youngsun Ryu will lead the service and present a sermon titled "The Gap One Breath Deep". There will be alternative options for our children and youth in Fellowship Hall during the livestream.
