Commitment Sunday: Stewardship = Time, Talent, and Money
This will be a Sunday to celebrate Westside Stewardship throuigh sharing the pledges of our money and committing our time and talents in our community! We will have a Breakfast Potluck for this community-wide event. No RE classes today - we hope you will take time to visit with our committees and teams to learn about the wonderful work of Westside and figure out where your time and talents can best be utilized! Our service at 10:30 will be filled with standard elements as well as special musical performances and readings as we celebrate our LOVE for Westside through our Time-Talent-and Treasure!
Potluck Brunch - Committee Fair - Love Letters to Westsid
Join us this Sunday at Westside as the 2026-2027 Annual Giving Campaign, Fanning Our Flame, comes to a grand finale! We are planning a spectacular morning in community from start to finish!
Beginning at 9:15 am - bring a potluck breakfast item to share (fruit, brunch veggies, savory or sweet finger foods). Visit lay leaders and participants on the various committees, teams, and interest groups available at Westside. There will be tables throughout the building to visit and learn about the benefits of sharing your time and talent with Westside.
Then at 10:30, we will gather in the Sanctuary for "Love Letters to Westside" where we will celebrate our love for Westside with an intergenerational service filled with special music, readings, and congregational participation.
If you have not yet returned your financial pledge for the coming fiscal year, please be prepared to do so on Sunday! We will have printed forms, QR codes, and google forms available!
Following the service, the committee tables and potluck brunch tables will be available again until 12:30.
There will be no regular Adult, Children, or Youth Radical Exploration classes this Sunday. Childcare will be available per usual on Sunday. Our yoUUth will be meeting after the service.
Let's fill the halls, classrooms, and sanctuary of Westside to overflowing this Sunday with LOVE at the Center!!

A Different Perspective
with Daniel Melendez
People often react with nostalgic warmth when I say I grew up near the church. But I’m here to offer a different perspective. While I lived just two blocks from here, it was worlds apart.
